We are now open for all services: Well and sick visits, diagnostics, surgeries, and dental procedures. We ask for your patience as we remain curbside for visits, medication, and product pickups. We are also short staffed and are very busy getting “caught up”. Please call us and we will do our best to accommodate you and your pet’s needs. We are looking forward to seeing you again. Unfortunately, we are not accepting new clients at this time. We hope this is very temporary. Check back for updates.

Due to Covid-19, we are now closed for appointments. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience and please know that Dr. Roginski and staff are thinking of you all and look forward to seeing you again soon. We will have reduced hours and limited staff here to refill medicines and forward records if you need to seek treatment elsewhere.
Watch our Facebook, website, and google listing for when we reopen, which at the earliest would be May 20th.

Dear Clients,
I hope this letter finds you safe at home and in good health. The COVID-19 Pandemic hit New York State almost a month ago, who would have thought March 2020 would be this way.
We have put new practices in place based on the CDC, AVMA, NYSVMS, state, and federal guidelines. These guidelines include: how and when we can see clients and other ways we can serve you if you are unable to come in person.
Besides our normal veterinary hospital cleaning practices, we are repeatedly cleaning commonly touched surfaces and objects and we are deep cleaning as well. Our employees are healthy, and we have not had any known exposure to COVID-19.
We are open and operating but under limitations set in place by New York State. We are seeing urgent and emergency cases and illnesses. We are available for limited vaccines in order to uphold state vaccine regulations i.e., Rabies. We have had to decrease and postpone non-essentials such as: annual well visits, routine dental cleanings, and nail trims. We will catch up with you and your pet in time, you will not be forgotten.
Clients are not allowed in the building at this time, and we ask you to please maintain appropriate social distancing while outside with your pets. Please call from your vehicle to let us know you are here for an appointment, or to pick up prescription items. We will arrange payment over the phone, and we will meet you outside to escort your pet into the building for his or her exam.
If you are sick or compromised, there are many ways we can connect with you during this challenging time. We are available between appointments for a phone consultation, we can evaluate pictures over email, and we have a new platform for video consultations called PetPro Connect (an app you can download to a smart device). At this challenging time, depending on the case, we may charge a consultation fee. These services are available for established clients of Valley Veterinary Hospital. Please call the office to discuss which one of these options might be best for you.
Our goal is to be available for you and your beloved pets through this entire COVID-19 pandemic situation. In order to ensure this, we must be safe and strict with our policies. If you have any concerns, please reach out to us at 845-635-2472. We will be updating our website valleyvetpv.com, also please follow and or like us on Facebook.
Thank you,
Dr. Lauren Roginski and the Staff of Valley Veterinary Hospital

To our Valley Vet community:
We hope this email finds you healthy and safe, in the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to maintain the health of our employees, the community, and your pets.
Under the NYS PAUSE edict, Veterinary Services are considered essential with some limitations. We are still open and seeing patients for sick and emergency purposes.
Please call if you have questions regarding vaccines or surgeries. We are, however, working with reduced hours and reduced staff. Please call the office if you are in need of treatments for any of your pets. We are asking clients to stay in the car and call us when you arrive. We will retrieve your pet and bring them inside to be examined and treated. The goal is to limit the exposure amongst both our employees and clients.
We thank you for your patience during this challenging time.
Dr. Lauren Roginski and the Staff of Valley Veterinary Hospital

We are updating our operations in order to follow New York State mandates. In order to slow the spread of the coronavirus, and to save on personal protective equipment for medical personnel. We are currently operating for essential and emergency services only. There will NOT be any non-essential appointments including nail trims, well visits, non-essential surgeries, or non-essential procedures.
We are having clients stay in their cars. Please call us when you arrive and we will bring your pet into the building for treatment. If you are in need of medications, we will take your order and payment over the phone, then deliver it to you in the parking lot when you come to pick it up.
Thank you for your continued trust and support. We are truly living in unprecedented times. We are grateful for our community and clients as we adapt to the Covid-19 situation.
With care and compassion for good health for everyone,
Dr. Lauren Roginski
Veterinarian and Owner of Valley Veterinary Hospital
