The doctors and staff of Valley Vet Hospital are here to provide high quality, compassionate veterinary care, emergency care, and critical care for your pets. In addition, we are advocates of learning and educating our clients through highly trained staff.
Dr. Lauren Roginski
Dr. Lauren Roginski became the new owner of Valley Veterinary Hospital, in 2016, after working with Dr. Michael Murphy since 2012. Upon graduation from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2002, Dr. Roginski returned to the east coast and worked at Ringwood Animal Hospital in New Jersey.
When she joined Valley Veterinary Hospital in 2012, she knew this was her forever practice. Dr. Roginski enjoys the people and animals she gets to see each day. She lives at home with her husband, daughter, and son. They have 3 black cats and a Doberman Pinscher named Comet.
Dr. Dawn Lasko
Dr. Dawn Lasko returned to Valley Veterinary Hospital in 2016, from Bethel CT, where she practiced for 14 years. She is native to Pleasant Valley and worked as an assistant at Valley Vet prior to veterinary school. She studied at the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her DVM degree in 2002.
Dr. Lasko enjoys yoga, art, and spending time outdoors. She has an English Cocker Spaniel named Elvis.
Dr. Ashley Kopeikin
We are so grateful for the years that Dr. Kopeikin was a part of the Valley Vet Hospital Team!
The Valley Vet community will all miss her as she is an incredible Doctor and a loving person.
We wish her and her family continued health and happiness as they move back to Massachusetts.
Dr. Michael S. Murphy
After practicing Veterinary Medicine for over 37 years, and owning Valley Vet for 28 years, Dr. Murphy has retired. He is happy to have his legacy live on under the ownership of Dr. Lauren Roginski. He continues to reside in the Hudson Valley, but will be pursuing his many interests in hiking, running, and camping. He also plans to spend time traveling with his wife, and visiting with his children and grandchildren.
